Passive Volume Control for Amplified In-ears

The Behringer Powerplay PM1 restores freedom of movement to the in-ear user. This completely passive box is tiny, requires no power, and lets you control your in-ear volume from your hip. Every part of the PM1 is designed to withstand the rigors of the road, from the smooth volume pot to the overbuilt metal chassis and belt clip. Sweetwater reviewers were impressed with the locking XLR input, which keeps foot traffic and stage mishaps from disconnecting your monitor source. Best of all, the Behringer Powerplay PM1 uses a standard 3.5mm output jack to drive in-ears, headphones, or earbuds.
Note: the PM1 is just a level control. You'll still need a headphone amp to drive your monitors. Contact your Sweetwater Sales Engineer for more information.

Perfect Wired IEM Solution

Perfect for wired IEM rig and very low profile. Mackie DL32R stereo IEM feeds a Presonus HP60 headphone amp which feeds back to performers via individual stage snakes. Match your snake sends though, ie TRS Male to XLR male in the belt pack. Locking XLR is great security for moving onstage and NOT having to worry about batteries is great. Hopefully Behringer doesn"t stop making these in favor of the battery versions....

A Clear No Brainer!

It's tiny. No battery. Plenty loud. Connect it with the aux out of a mixer. This is perfect for stationary musicians. There is no competition at this price point for a wired in-ear monitor without a battery and this small. Now, in-ear monitoring is affordable for most musicians.

Best low cost IEM

Couple this with Shure SE215 and you have a killer low cost IEM solution. I am a guitarist and our drummer, bass player and I all use these. A little more bother with the XLR cable that wireless but at the price it can't be beat. We used to use the Powerplay P1 but it was a hassle with the battery. This one is no battery, no complications. Plenty loud. Ususally run about 3/4 volume.

Good backup..

Not loud enough for practical use live without an additional headphone amp. Every mixin board has to max out their AUX outputs to the point of distortion to get any decent impact and clarity. Awesome cheap backup in case powered one fails. Design of this seems solid just wish it were louder somehow.
