The Audac AMP523MK2 is a compact stereo installation amplifier designed for professional audio systems in commercial environments. It delivers reliable amplification for background music and speech while offering flexible connectivity and control options.

Amplifier Performance

  • Continuous power output of 2 × 15 W at 4 Ω and 2 × 7.5 W at 8 Ω.
    In bridge mode the amplifier can deliver 30 W at 8 Ω.
  • Total harmonic distortion plus noise is less than 0.1% at 1 kHz.
    Signal-to-noise ratio is greater than 95 dB with crosstalk below −75 dB at 1 kHz.

Inputs

  • Four stereo unbalanced line inputs with an impedance of 20 kΩ and sensitivity between −10 dBV and +4 dBV.
    One balanced microphone input with 47 kΩ impedance and sensitivity between −45 dBV and −20 dBV.
    Connections are provided through an 18-pin Euro terminal block (3.81 mm pitch).
  • Additional communication interfaces include RS-485 with differential audio via RJ45, RS-232 via SUB-D9 connector, and Ethernet via RJ45.

Outputs

  • One stereo loudspeaker output provided through a 4-pin Euro terminal block (5.08 mm pitch).

Power and Protection

  • Power supply: 24 V DC using the included PSD241 switching power supply (100–240 V AC, 47–63 Hz).
    Standby power consumption is less than 3 W and amplifier efficiency is approximately 87%.
  • The amplifier includes protection against overheating, DC faults, short circuits, and built-in limiting.

Control

  • Control is available through RS-232, TCP/IP, and RS-485, with two socket connections for AUDAC Touch™ integration.
