The Audio-Technica ATW-T220c Handheld Wireless Microphone Transmitter is used with Audio-Technica’s 2000 series wireless microphone systems. The ATW-T220c features the Pro 41 dynamic microphone capsule and 10 user selectable frequencies to create a wireless transmission channel with the ATW-R2100c receiver unit (available separately) with a maximum range of 300′.
The transmitter offers an RF output switch that lets you set the transmission level to Low for battery-preserving normal use or boost it to the High setting to overcome interference problems at the expense of battery life. The transmitter will operate for between 7 and 9 hours (depending on the RF setting) on two 1.5V AA batteries, and a red LED lights up when the batteries are good.
The dynamic microphone’s cardioid pickup pattern is effective in minimizing off-axis noise and feedback while delivering clear speech and vocals for performances and events.
