The Blackstar Unity 250 Bass Amplifier delivers 250 watts of power through a custom-designed Opus speaker. This robust amp provides clear, dynamic sound suitable for both performance and studio settings. The Unity Bass 250 features versatile built-in effects, including Chorus, Compressor, and Octaver. These effects enhance your tonal possibilities and allow extensive sound shaping. The amplifier includes three footswitchable drives—Overdrive, Distortion, and Fuzz. Each drive has a user-controllable blend, offering a range of overdrive options to suit various styles.

It is equipped with a 3-band EQ with semi-parametric Mid control for precise sound adjustments. The unique Response control provides three modes: Linear, 6L6, and 6550. These modes let you tailor the amp’s response to your playing style. Additionally, the footswitchable Chorus and Sub-Octave effects come with adjustable level control for further tonal flexibility. The compressor ensures consistent sound, while the input gain with clip indication helps manage signal levels effectively.

Connectivity is a major strength of the Unity Bass 250. It includes USB audio out for direct recording, balanced XLR and ¼-inch Line Out, and D.I. / cabinet emulated line outputs. These options provide various recording and PA integration possibilities. The amp features a series effects loop and MP3/Line in for external device connections. A headphone output with independent level control supports silent practice. The pad switch accommodates both active and passive instruments. The master volume allows for overall sound level adjustments.
