The TASCAM BO-16DX/OUT is a passive 16-channel analogue breakout box designed to convert two 25-pin D-sub output connections into 16 balanced XLR male outputs.

It is suitable for professional recording studios, broadcast facilities, post-production environments, live sound systems and permanent commercial audio installations. It can be used with TASCAM ML-16D and ML-32D Dante converters, selected TASCAM multitrack recorders and other professional equipment using the AES59-2012 TASCAM-standard DB25 pin configuration.

Passive Operation

The BO-16DX/OUT is a passive connection adapter and requires no mains electricity, batteries or external power supply.

It does not provide:

• DSP processing
• Level adjustment
• Audio recording

It only routes balanced analogue signals from the DB25 connectors to the corresponding XLR outputs.
