Ideal for commercial spaces that require a discreet and slim wall-mounted speaker, the Yamaha VXL1B-24 is a line array loudspeaker, featuring 24 1.5″ full-range drivers with neodymium magnets for high-quality sound reproduction. With a wide horizontal dispersion of 170° and a max power handling of 440W, this loudspeaker array can handle a wide range of spaces.
The vertical coverage can be adjusted between a narrow setting of 20° and a wide setting of 40°, allowing you to cover a range of spaces. The slim cabinet and curved grille design of the VXL1 is stylish and blends effortlessly into the style of any environment. The loudspeaker array features overload protections to avoid damage to your drivers or audio network. The IP35 water and dust resistance makes this array viable in many different installation environments, including outdoor spaces. To further facilitate integration into a range of decors, the enclosure is fully paintable. The VXL1 features a mounting bracket.
Blend High Sound Quality with Visual Elegance
The VXL1 series cabinets feature 2.1″-wide enclosures with a slim, elegant profile that blends effortlessly into any décor. At the heart of the designs are high-performance, 1.5″, full-range drivers configured to deliver natural response down to 77 Hz for sonic performance that is ideal for speech and music reproduction.
High-performance drivers with neodymium magnets are arranged vertically to create a line source that achieves outstanding projection. By focusing sound in the vertical direction, reflections can be minimized resulting in high-clarity and intelligible sound in the target area.
Excellent Scalability
The compact drivers used in the VXL1 series contribute to 170° horizontal dispersion and 20° vertical dispersion. A rear-panel switch allows vertical dispersion to be expanded downward by 40° so that a wide range of applications can be accommodated.
The Wide setting expands the dispersion angle in the downward direction only, improving coverage at the front of the listening area. Sound pressure level and coverage can be further adjusted as required by combining models with different numbers of driver units, expanding the range of potential applications.
Dedicated Speaker Presets
The VXL series come with dedicated speaker presets to maximize their sound performance according to the type of installation and application. These include presets for single wall-mounted speaker, for speech use, for use with a subwoofer, for single-speaker pole mounting, for double-speaker horizontal coupling on a wall, and for double-speaker vertical coupling on a wall.
Flexible Installation Options
In addition to the included wall-mount brackets, a comprehensive range of optional hardware is available for VXL1 series enclosures to facilitate mounting and setup in multiple environments:
- The WMB-L1 wall-mount bracket provides vertical and horizontal angle adjustments
- The VCB-L1 bracket allows for VXL1 enclosures to be stacked on top of one another
- VCSB-L1 brackets enable two VXL1 enclosures to be stacked along with downward angle adjustment of the entire array
- The HCB-L1 bracket facilitates horizontal deployment of two VXL1 loudspeakers in an array
- The ST-L1 transformer allows for low-saturation, high-impedance (70/100V) applications
