The Yamaha YFL‑472 is an upper-intermediate flute designed for advancing players who seek enhanced tonal richness, professional features, and long-lasting build quality. Made entirely of sterling silver, including the headjoint, body, and footjoint, it delivers a warm, resonant sound with superior projection.

The CY headjoint promotes smooth response and even tone across all registers, while features like open-hole keys, an offset G configuration, and a split E mechanism make it ergonomically comfortable and technically versatile. French-style pointed key arms and drawn & curled tone holes further enhance both playability and durability.

This flute is individually hand-assembled and adjusted to meet Yamaha’s high quality standards and includes a hard-shell case, cleaning rod, cloth, and optional key plugs.
