The TASCAM IF-DA64 is a professional expansion card that adds high-channel-count Dante and AES67 network-audio connectivity to compatible TASCAM digital mixers and multitrack recorders.

It supports up to 64 Dante inputs and 64 Dante outputs at 44.1 or 48 kHz, or up to 32 inputs and 32 outputs at 88.2 or 96 kHz. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports support primary and secondary redundant Dante networks.

The card operates bidirectionally, allowing the connected TASCAM mixer or recorder to send and receive Dante audio simultaneously.

Sonicview Expansion

When installed in a compatible Sonicview console, the IF-DA64 adds an additional 64 Dante inputs and outputs at 48 kHz.

Together with the console’s built-in Dante interface, this can provide up to 128 Dante inputs and 128 Dante outputs at 48 kHz. At 96 kHz, the console and expansion card can provide a combined total of up to 64 Dante inputs and outputs.

DA-6400 Integration

When installed in a TASCAM DA-6400 or DA-6400dp, the IF-DA64 allows the recorder to capture or play back audio directly through a Dante network.

The DA-6400 can record up to:

• 64 tracks at 44.1 or 48 kHz
• 32 tracks at 88.2 or 96 kHz

Recording capacity, storage and transport functions are provided by the DA-6400 host recorder, not by the IF-DA64 card itself.
