The TASCAM LM-8ST is a professional eight-channel stereo line mixer designed for permanent installations, studio submixing, keyboard rigs, live sound systems, restaurants, conference facilities and other applications requiring several stereo audio sources to be combined in a compact rack-mounted unit.

It provides eight stereo line-input channels, equivalent to 16 individual balanced line-input connections. Each channel can be routed independently to the ST1 main stereo bus and the configurable ST2/AUX stereo bus.

The ST2/AUX bus can operate as a second independent stereo output or as a post-fader auxiliary send. This makes the LM-8ST suitable for creating two separate stereo mixes, feeding different rooms or zones, sending audio to recording equipment, or adding extra stereo inputs to a larger mixing console.
