The TASCAM MX-8A is a professional digital matrix mixer and DSP processor designed for permanent audio installations. It provides eight balanced mic/line inputs, eight balanced line outputs and stereo USB audio input and output.

Its internal 10 × 10 matrix allows the eight analogue inputs and two USB channels to be mixed and routed to eight independent analogue output zones and a stereo USB output. This makes it suitable for conference rooms, restaurants, retail stores, hotels, banquet halls, courtrooms, schools, houses of worship and other multi-zone audio systems.

Mixer Type

The TASCAM MX-8A is a digital matrix installation mixer with built-in DSP processing.

It is not a conventional analogue mixer with physical channel faders. Configuration and daily operation are performed through control software, compatible network controllers or third-party control systems.
